Privacy policy
Ultimate Cleaner Privacy Policy
This policy applies to Ultimate Cleaner: AI Clean Up for iPhone (App Store ID 6825053846), published by Elevate Mobile Group LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. It is also part of our company-wide Privacy Policy.
How Ultimate Cleaner handles your data
Ultimate Cleaner: AI Clean Up has no account and no login. Your photos, videos, contacts, calendars, email, and Secret Vault are processed on your iPhone. We do not run any server that receives them, and none of them is ever given to the advertising SDK. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects the limited device and usage data described below. With Pro, no ads are shown and the ad SDK is never started.
Photos and videos
Finding duplicates, similar shots, bursts, screenshots, blurry photos, and large videos, choosing the best shot with on-device AI, sorting screenshots, compressing videos, and converting Live Photos all happen on your iPhone using Apple's frameworks. Nothing from your photo library is uploaded or shared. Nothing is deleted until you confirm in Apple's own dialog, and deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days.
Contacts
Contacts are read on your iPhone to find duplicate and incomplete cards. A backup of the affected cards is saved on your iPhone before every merge or delete. Contacts are never uploaded or shared.
Calendars
With full calendar access, the app checks your events on your iPhone for spam invitations and finds events that ended more than a year ago. An event is only flagged as spam when it contains a known scam phrase and also either came as an invitation from someone else or links to a suspicious address. The rules are built into the app; your events are never uploaded or shared, and nothing is removed until you confirm.
Email cleaner (optional)
If you connect a mailbox, the app connects directly from your iPhone to your email provider (for example Gmail, iCloud Mail, Outlook, Yahoo, or AOL) over an encrypted IMAP connection (TLS only). Nothing passes through a server of ours.
- Sign-in: you sign in with an app password, or with Google or Microsoft sign-in (OAuth). Your password or sign-in tokens are stored only in this iPhone's Keychain, are never synced to iCloud Keychain or restored from a backup, and are sent only to your email provider.
- What is read: for each message, the sender, subject, date, mailing-list and unsubscribe headers, size, read or unread status, and arrival date. The app never downloads message bodies or attachments.
- What changes: folders are scanned in read-only mode and nothing is marked as read. Messages are moved to Trash only when you confirm. Unsubscribe opens the sender's own page in Safari only when you tap it.
- Where it goes: email information stays on your iPhone. It is not sent to us, not used for advertising, not sold, and not read by any person.
- Disconnecting: signing out of a mailbox in the app deletes its sign-in from the Keychain and, for Google, revokes the app's access. You can also remove access in your Google or Microsoft account settings at any time.
Ultimate Cleaner's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Secret Vault and vault camera
- Photos and videos you add to the Secret Vault are stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone with iOS Complete data protection, so they are encrypted and unreadable while your iPhone is locked. They are never uploaded.
- The vault opens with Face ID, your device passcode, or an optional PIN. Face ID is handled entirely by iOS; the app never receives your face data.
- Camera and microphone: the camera is used only when you take a photo or video inside the Secret Vault, and the microphone only to record sound for those videos. Captures go straight into the vault and are never saved to your camera roll.
- When you move photos from your library into the vault, a copy is stored in the vault and you can choose to delete the originals, which then stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days.
- Vault files are part of the app's data on your iPhone and can be included in your encrypted iPhone backups. Deleting the app deletes the vault, so export anything you want to keep first.
Advertising and tracking (free version)
The free version shows banner and full-screen ads from Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC. To deliver, measure, and protect ads, Google's SDK may collect:
- Device identifiers: used for third-party advertising, ad measurement, and analytics. The advertising identifier (IDFA) is read only if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Advertising data and product interaction: for example which ads were shown or tapped, and app launches.
- Approximate location derived from your IP address: used for ad delivery, analytics, and deciding whether a consent form is required. The app never requests precise location.
- Performance, crash, and diagnostic data: used to keep the ad SDK working. Not linked to you.
No photo, video, contact, calendar, email, or vault content is ever given to the ad SDK. Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Consent: in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and US states with privacy laws, Google's consent form appears before any ad is requested where the law requires it. You can review or change your choice in the app under Settings › About › Ad Privacy Choices.
- Tracking: the app asks once with Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, after consent. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Ads still work if you decline; they are just less personalized.
- No ads at all: with Pro, no ads are shown, the tracking prompt is never shown, and the ad SDK is not started.
Other features
- Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show storage and battery information stored on your iPhone.
- The clipboard check only tells you whether the clipboard holds text, and Clear empties it, without the app reading what is on it.
- The optional weekly reminder is a notification scheduled on your iPhone.
- Settings, progress, and charging animations are stored on your iPhone.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Your purchase status is checked on your iPhone with Apple's StoreKit.
Children
Ultimate Cleaner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and deleting your data
- Change Photos, Contacts, Calendars, Camera, and Microphone access in iOS Settings or in the app under Settings › Permissions.
- Sign out of a mailbox in the app at any time.
- Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your iPhone, including the Secret Vault. Email sign-ins left in the Keychain are erased the next time the app is installed and opened, and are never restored; sign out first to remove them immediately.
- We hold no account or profile about you. For data collected by Google for advertising, use Ad Privacy Choices in the app or Google's ad settings. Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws, you may have rights to access, delete, or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. Contact support@elevatemobilegroup.com and we will help.
Changes
If we change what the app collects or who receives it, we will update this section and the App Privacy information on the App Store listing, and tell you in the app for meaningful changes.
